Gak Gendut Lagi (GGL)
All-in-One Health & Fitness Companion
Gak Gendut Lagi (GGL) is a health and fitness app that guides users through their entire weight-loss journey — from setting goals and tracking body measurements to following personalized meal plans, guided workouts, and a daily step counter. I built the cross-platform Flutter app end-to-end, covering onboarding, the core tracking features, content delivery, and a subscription paywall. The product has since been discontinued.
Mobile Developer — built the full Flutter app for Android and iOS: the guest-to-user onboarding and authentication flow, goal setup and body measurement tracking, meal plans with a saved-meals library, guided workout sessions with video tutorials and a step counter, profile management, and an in-app subscription & payment flow.
Onboarding & Authentication
New visitors land on a guest home screen and are prompted through a bottom-sheet to sign in or create an account. The multi-step sign-up flow collects the details GGL needs to personalize the experience, and once authenticated, users arrive at their personalized home dashboard.
Goals & Body Measurement
Users define their target weight and fitness goals, then log body measurements to establish a baseline. The app tracks progress over time so users can see how their measurements move toward the goal they set.
Meal Plans & Saved Meals
Personalized meal plans lay out what to eat across the day with calorie and nutrition details. Users can browse meal options and save their favorites to a dedicated library for quick access later.
Workouts, Tutorials & Step Counter
Guided workout sessions walk users through exercises with video tutorials and step-by-step instructions, while a built-in step counter tracks daily activity to keep users moving toward their goals.
Profile
The profile area lets users manage their account details and personal information, and review the goals and progress tied to their fitness journey.
Subscription & Payment
A subscription paywall unlocks GGL's premium plans and content. The full flow covers plan selection, checkout, and payment confirmation — handling the complete purchase journey inside the app.
